Hi, I'm Cela.
I started working with teens coping with eating disorders during my music therapy internship at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. I saw how music connected to these teens in ways medical and psychological treatment didn't.
This experience stuck with me, and I went on to write about the role of music therapy in building identity in adolescents with eating disorders during my master's at Vanderbilt University.

I graduated from Vanderbilt in May 2025 and am grateful to continue meaningful work with teens and adults.
