Treatment

Once we have decided on your goals for music therapy, treatment will begin. Depending on the goal areas and needs, treatment can look like identifying and expressing emotions via songwriting, building coping skills through lyric analysis, working on fine and gross motor skills through instrument playing, increasing positive social interactions in group music therapy. Length of treatment will vary for everyone.

High Five after Workout

Completion

Music therapy can end for a variety of reasons such as completing music therapy goals and/or no longer benefiting from music therapy, moving, or unplanned circumstances. When music therapy comes to a planned end, the music therapist will support the client in phasing out the remaining sessions.
